·   SIA : As part of an Architecture and Design Team, completed Phase I of the National Guard Service Interface Agreement Application.  This application was used to track Service Interface Agreements between all needed branches of Government for the National Guard.

o   RLAS 8 was built using Microsoft Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), Microsoft Entity Framework, and SQL Server. 

o   Development of the RLAS 8 WCF services included both Transport and Message Level Security as well as Windows Identity Impersonation across multiple network hops. 

o   Successfully coded a Data Services layer for RLAS 8, allowing ability to dynamically switch between WCF and direct database requests, while utilizing a single programming interface for developers.

·   USAR Gatekeeper Security : Developed USAR Gatekeeper, a Microsoft Internet Information Services HTTP Module to perform security authentication and authorization for all core application modules developed for eLAS (Enterprise Level Application System) and RLAS 8 (Regional Level Application System) for the United States Army Reserve. 

o   USAR Gatekeeper replaces four separate security models currently used in RLAS, bringing all the RLAS modules under a single, manageable security model.

·   USAR Framework : Worked as part of an Architecture and Design Team to design the USAR Framework.  A core framework consisting of base classes, business objects, service objects, and database structures to be used by United States Army Reserve Command developers in the design of future software relating to military operations.

o   USAR Framework focuses on thin client, server-side processing using ASP.NET, C#, WCF, COM+, MS SQL Server, IIS, and Visio UML & database modeling tools.   This framework is currently being used in the development of RLAS 8, eLAS, and the eLAS Taskers System.

·   BRAC / Taskers : Enhanced the eLAS Taskers System by creating services to communicate with the Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) program.

o   Enhancements included automatic creation of a SQL Services Report with BRAC information through the SSRS webservice, automatic creation of an eLAS Tasker, including the stored report, and then automatic creation of a Microsoft SharePoint Workflow for the Tasker and BRAC information, including security assignment.

·   eLAS Taskers : As Team Leader, successfully developed the eLAS Taskers System, a global tasking system allowing the United States Army Reserve to create and track electronically accessible Taskers (Army Task Requests). 

o   The system includes the ability to create unlimited hierarchical assignments throughout the US Army Reserve’s Command and Control structure, including automatic email notification of Tasker creation, assignments, updates, closings, and deletions to all Executive Officers and Action Officers assigned to the Tasker. 

o   Provided central document storage in MS SQL Server. 

o   Deployment visibility includes all US Army Reserve commands including the Office of the Chief of the Army Reserve in the Pentagon.  This application has cut Tasker processing time by 3-4 hours per day for each of the 1500+ Executive and Action Officers currently using the system. 

·   USAR Reenlistment : Developed extension and waiver processing functionality for the United States Army Reserve Reenlistment application.

o   The USAR Reenlistment application was built using ASP.NET, VB.NET, ADO.NET, IIS, and SQL Server 2000. 

o   Allowed the ability to research a soldier’s eligibility to reenlist, extend an enlistment, or grant a waiver to reenlist in an automated manner saving hours over the previous method of tracking and researching paper documents.

o             Designed and implemented a firewall security analysis method to analyze firewall security, while eliminating the need to define firewall interfaces resulting in an increase in sales of $2M and a decrease in customer support calls by 75%.

·   Digital Notarization : As part of a team, developed a digital notarization service

o             VeriSign Digital Notarization was built using C++, JavaScript, VBScript, HTML, PKI, Digital Certificates, Oracle, and iPlanet’s Enterprise Web Server that allowed certificate holders to digitally notarize legal documents, contracts, and any type of binary file.  Users could then verify any file against its digital receipt to make sure was trustworthy and non-fraudulent.

o             Upgraded the digital notarization service that allowed Authentic Document users to manage their digital receipts (download, verify, revoke).  This required programming changes to the user interface, client-authentication, and server-side receipt processing.

·   Digital Brand Management System : Hand-picked to help redesign the Digital Brand Management System, a service for managing domain names for small to very large corporations that was projected to increase revenue by $100 million in 2002.

o             Digital Brand Management System was built using Coldfusion, Java, C++, Oracle, and MS SQL Server. 

·   Legacy Product Migration : After company’s acquisition of 1GlobalPlace and idNames, was chosen to migrate their products into the Digital Brand Management System by making database schema changes, enhancing user permissions, enhancing internal processing & invoicing, and designing a task status tracking system.  This enabled the migration of company, user, and domain information of over 3000 customers.
